The great state of Texas shows its heart
In Dallas, it's now illegal to give the homeless food and clothing. It is literally grounds for arrest.
There's a group of kind people who believe this is wrong and share with the homeless anyway.
To discourage "official interference" with their efforts they do it armed.
Their experience?
"We tend to have a lot less trouble with the police when we're armed."
Make of this story what you will.
As the popular saying goes: "What would Jesus do?"
Well, in Texas they share with the needy - and do it strapped.
Hard to see how Jesus would have a problem with that.
