Developed in the '80s by John Linebaugh, the pseudonymous .475 Linebaugh is an extremely effective rimmed revolver cartridge. It is derived from the .45-70 Government case, though it has been shaved down to just an inch and a half and eqipped with .475-diameter bullets ranging from between roughly 300 to 400 grains.
